The heat is here, and the knots too!!

Surely it has happened to you, that taking care of your maltesito's hair as always, suddenly with the first heats they begin to make more knots and you notice the hair more frizzy. It's not your fault!

Why when it is hotter do more knots appear in the mantle?

-The hair dries out because the environment is more alkaline and loses its natural acidity.

-Presents less sebum to lubricate the hair fibers and their external cuticle.

-By keeping less sebum and being more brittle (it loses elasticity and resistance) it is easier for it to get tangled up with other objects and even with other hair fibers.

-Contact with substances such as chlorine (in the pool) and heavy and radioactive substances from the sea.

What solutions can we provide?

-Daily brushing accompanied by a detangling product.

-Increase the frequency of use of nourishing treatments such as masks.

-Clean with water, salt and residue from having been on the beach, or chlorine after going to the pool.
